3rd Party Integration:

Open architecture offers your maximum input flexibility

One of the fundamental building blocks of the Frontline concept is to allow you as the lab, to choose yourself how you want to work. We are fond of our online solutions, however maybe they are not the best tool for just your specific market and we respect this. We understand the importance of integrating directly with other 3rd party providers as well as providing you with tools to work with other systems within Frontline.

3rd party integration

  • By default, the various frontWeb systems allow you to tie your online system together with 3rd party galleries, or online image banks, to connect a print service.
  • Direct integration for Softworks Systems (ROES) online client.
  • Open architecture and database for you to customize the system to your needs.
  • Hotfolder dropbox support which allows you to use Frontline with any 3rd party input source with unlimited file specific drop folders which can have an assigned printsize, output, surface, ICC profile, etc.
  • Hotfolder dropboxes can also support time and date retrievel specifications to furthur customize your 3rd party workflow.

Softworks Systems - ROES

The ROES Server will feed orders directly into the Frontline System, where images can be independently color corrected and automatically exported back to ROES for full 100% accurate rendering of the composite and Pager-modified items.

Once rendered, the order is re-sent to Frontline with an XML instruction order file to inform Frontline exactly how to process the order from there.

Connect 3rd party image galleries

If you have an existing image gallery or B2B partnership with one, you can easily connect it with your frontWeb system to offer customers the ability to directly order prints.

Customers are transferred seamlessly from the 3rd party site to frontWebs order page where their thumbnails are already loaded and they are already logged in. After ordering, the customer is redirected back to the 3rd party site while frontWeb automatically retrieves the high-resolution print images.

Hotfolder features

The Frontline V4 hotfolder has support for multiple hotfolders, as well as the ability to create dropboxes with assigned parameters such as size, surface, output device, color management, etc.

You may also define which days or times Frontline should poll the hotfolders to further customize your workflow and order routines.
